Banana Bae French Toast
Warm, fluffy French toast with a golden, buttery crust. Rich, nutty Banana Bae spread melts into every bite, finished with a drizzle of sweet condensed milk. And if you top it with ice cream? Pure, melty bliss.
Makes 4 toasts
Ingredients
2 eggs
⅓ cup (83g) milk
4 slices brioche loaf, 1” thickness
1 tbsp butter, unsalted
2 tbsp Naked Bakery Banana Bae per toast
Condensed milk, to taste
Optional: Ice Cream of Choice
How to make:
FRENCH TOAST
Mix together eggs and milk.
Heat a pan with butter over medium heat.
Dip brioche slice into egg until it is coated on both sides and has soaked in a bit of the mixture. Place directly onto the pre-heated pan. Repeat with additional slices until the pan is about 70% full (about 2-3 slices).
Cook each side for 2-3 mins or until golden brown.
Optional step: To make the outer crust a bit crunchy, I like to air fry the cooked french toast @ 200C for 4 mins
ASSEMBLY
Spread the Banana Bae on top of each toast slice (feel free to be generous as we did not add any sugar in the egg mixture).
Drizzle on as much condensed milk as you want.
Optional step: I like to enjoy this with a scoop of ice cream. The contrast between the hot, fluffy toast and cool creamy ice cream makes every bite extra indulgent!
